HOLIDAY WINDOW

Now here's a good conundrum we face every year at the holidays... how do you present an enticing window which will cover the entire season beginning at Thanksgiving and ending at New Year?  Generally I have a theory that everyone should be able to see INTO the store and have a good view of the flowers while they see our holiday decor.  So we have to do a visible/invisible trick-of-the-eye window.  Also, I like to keep it as deceptively simply as possible.

Most times this involves the ceiling and lots of ladder time.  Our poor ceiling is riddled with years gone by holes and tiny bits of (now forgotten) decor.  I think hanging designs give us the most bang for our buck by leaving the floor open for change.  Snowy floors make a nice clean palette for weekly changeovers.
